Hi everyone,

The mission of the Irish Cultural Center is to bring Irish heritage to life through dynamic education, vibrant community events, and the celebration of cherished traditions, inviting people of all cultures to connect, learn, and carry the Celtic spirit forward. The goal of the McClelland Library is to make accessible a comprehensive collection of materials on Ireland and the Irish diaspora on the role of Irish-Americans in Arizona and the Western United States. The Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library are divisions of the Irish Cultural & Learning Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, and are owned and maintained by the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department.

I am delighted to be in a position to volunteer my time to support the Irish community by participating on the board of the Irish Cultural & Learning Foundation. 

As a trustee I commit to providing/raising $1,250 to support the ICLF each year and it’s with this goal I’d like to ask for your help. I know not everyone has funds to spare but if you plan to donate to a charity this year please consider donating to help me reach my goal by Oct. 22, 2025.

I also encourage people who have yet to see the Irish Cultural Center in downtown Phoenix, to come visit. There’s a beautiful traditional stone cottage, a stone castle/library and a great hall and many fun events for all the family held throughout the year. Volunteers are also always welcome check out the “Become a Volunteer” button on the azirish.org homepage.
